I WANT TO BELIEVE: NASA chief Jared Isaacman wants to stay ‘open-minded’ about UFOs: ‘If it’s aliens, I think NASA should have a seat at the table.’

“When you watch these videos,” Burman asked Isaacman, “do you believe that anything that we’ve seen in any of this is potentially extraterrestrial. Is it military? What is it?”

Isaacman said that NASA has had “a seat at the table” since U.S. President Donald Trump earlier this year called for releasing Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) and UAP files. That call is now officially known as the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE).

“My position going into every one of these: one, be open-minded. I mean, it is kind of our job to go out and try to answer the question ‘are we alone?’ And I said look, if it’s aliens, I think NASA should have a seat at the table in this for sure,” Isaacman said.

“If it’s a Sputnik moment, we did really well the last time that happened. Which means, is this potentially red technology? Is this an adversary that’s testing some next generation propulsion? It’s certainly in the realm of the possible.”

Natural phenomena, space aliens, or unknown earthlings with seriously advanced tech…

WHO ARE MOST-EVER WRITTEN ABOUT PERSONS? The list compiled in 1999 by former CIA analyst Peter Dickson was updated a year later by J. Warner Wallace of Cold-Case Christianity. Jesus Christ topped the list both years, but there were some changes in 2020, most notably in the Virgin Mary dropping out of the Top 10.

But, as HillFaith reports today, it appears the Dickson listing has not been updated since then, and it is conceivable that more changes have occurred in addition to the Virgin Mary (Perhaps she’s regained a spot in the Top 10). If you know of a more recent compilation, please share it in the comments, either here on Instapundit or on hillfaith.org.

GET OFF OF MY CHURCH’S LAWN: Anti-Gun Orgs Urge Clergy to Use Red Flag Laws to Grab Their Congregants’ Guns.

In September, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Center for Gun Violence Solutions published a tract titled “Extreme Risk Protection Orders: A Clergy Resource Guide” (extreme risk protection orders are the gun control advocates’ preferred term for red flag gun confiscation orders). The document was authored alongside groups including Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence, Faith Leaders for Ending Gun Violence, and Jewish Women International.

Another author was the Presbyterian Office of Public Witness, which the document described as “the public policy information and advocacy office for the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA).” The “progressive” PCUSA currently hosts the guide on its website. Texas Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico, who has put his version of religion at the forefront of his campaign, trained at a PCUSA seminary.

Astute gun rights supporters will know that the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health bears the name of billionaire gun control financier Michael Bloomberg. For his part, Bloomberg appears to believe he can dictate terms to the divine.

Trying to convince clergy to question the fitness or even then mental health of their own parishioners is… well, crazy.

HMM: Five Hormuz Incidents Reported Monday as Tanker Attacks Mount.

UK Maritime Trade Operations reported five separate incidents involving commercial shipping in or near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, including four tanker attacks and an incident in which Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened another vessel with attack.

Three of the four attack notices were time-late reports covering incidents from October 3 and 4, while the latest strike occurred Monday afternoon. The concentration of reports underscores both the intensity of the recent violence and the difficulty of establishing what is happening in the Strait in real time.

The latest incident, UKMTO 156-26, occurred at 1637 UTC Monday when the master of a tanker reported being struck by an unknown projectile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The strike caused a fire in the vessel’s engine room, which the crew was fighting when UKMTO issued its warning. No casualties or environmental impact had been reported.

The attack followed four other Hormuz-related notices issued earlier Monday.
