The Massachusetts native set woke snowflakes’ blue hair ablaze with his gags. He attacked DEI gone wild, mocking those who insist actors only take roles that reflect their actual life, background or physical state.

“‘Why is there an able-bodied person playing a quadriplegic?’” Burr said about Bryan Cranston’s starring role in “The Upside,” the tale of a quadriplegic in distress. “It’s called acting, you dumb f***.”

Glorious.

That Bill Burr may be gone for good. The comic actor hasn’t been as outrageous or funny in some time. He’s all over the map when it comes to the woke mind virus now, often sounding like a second-rate Hasan Piker.

In short, what the bleep happened to him?

Bill Burr was once a terrific comedian. One of my favorites. One of the best in the business, if not the best. Back in the old days, he had this sort of blue-collar thing going on. Kind of a redheaded Archie Bunker.

Well, now all his hair is gone, and so is his common sense.

Here he is talking to Rolling Stone magazine about who’s responsible for the actions of Luigi Mangione.

“They all seem to function like the CIA, which is really sort of like indicative of… that you’re kind of doing something wrong. I mean, if you look at all of this stuff… Like, the response to the Luigi thing was not to be like, ‘Well, hey, maybe we need to look at what we’re doing, if what we’re doing makes some crazy person do this.’ Their response was to take their faces off of the internet and get security. It’s like, you don’t think you need to examine? You know what I mean? It’s like, you’re not the president. You’re just the CEO of a business.”

Alright, let’s unpack that.

He’s talking about UnitedHealthcare, the company’s reaction after one of their executives was murdered. Shot in the back by a coward. And how people like Bill Burr cheered the murderer.

“The people at that company made a crazy person do this.” That’s what he’s saying. Mangione isn’t responsible for his own actions. They did this to themselves.

He’s blaming the victim. He’s justifying murder. He’s telling those people to capitulate to the demands of a terrorist.

“Why do you need security? You’re not the president.” They just watched their colleague gunned down in the street! And heard the massive cheer among Bill’s fellow commies!

Bill Burr, man. He had one of the greatest comedic minds of his generation, and now it’s gone. His mind is gone. I don’t know how you come back from this.

Was he this way all along, but he wasn’t rich enough yet to say what he really thought? Did his dumb leftist wife do this to him? I don’t know.

Again, as disappointed as I am, I want this guy to tell me who he really is now. I’ve now been disabused of the notion that he’s a good person.

It’s not funny, but it’s true.

UNEXPECTEDLY: 60 Minutes Airs Misleading Report on Trump Pardons.

The findings that felons had hired both Bill and Hillary’s family members to lobby the Clinton White House for pardons were widely covered by news outlets, including reporters at CBS News. Stahl joined the CBS News Washington bureau in the early 1970s and moved to “60 Minutes” in 1991, almost a decade before the Clinton scandal became national news. So it’s hard to understand how she missed these details of the Clinton pardon scandal to now claim the Trump administration has created a new “pardon economy,” as “60 Minutes” calls its news segment.

More Trump Probes

Although Stahl’s “60 Minutes” segment did not support its claim that Trump has created a unique new system for pardons, it is already prompting fresh partisan attacks against the president. In an online story that followed the “60 Minutes” piece, CBS News reported that Democrats were alarmed by the undercover video: “Senior Democratic lawmakers vowed Monday to investigate the new market that has sprung up around President Trump’s pardons, citing CBS News video of lobbyists offering to ‘put pressure on the president’ in exchange for a hefty fee from a convicted felon.”

Now the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, Congressman Jamie Raskin will likely lead these investigations. Raskin told CBS News that pardons are “kind of an underground market because not everybody knows how to get to it.”

CBS News failed to report, however, that one of the people who benefited from this underground market was Raskin himself, who Biden pardoned along with Liz Cheney on his final day in office.

GO AWAY: California Wants to Write America’s AI Rules.

The order cites the need for more stringent regulation following the Hugging Face attack and industry leaders’ call to action. It also accelerates the implementation of Senate Bill 813 and Assembly Bill 1405, which create a state framework for certifying and registering independent AI auditors but do not require developers to submit to audits.

​The announcement describes California’s AI framework as a “guidebook for the nation.” Adam Thierer, a senior fellow at the R Street Institute, sees it differently.

“It’s not a guidebook,” he tells Reason. “It’s a rule book.”

AI systems transcend state borders, and given California’s outsized role in the market, working around its laws is hardly an option; therefore, California law effectively becomes the national standard. This phenomenon is known as the “California effect,” and it has reared its ugly head in labor and environmental policy.

The last thing we need is a one-party kleptocracy that can’t even build a railroad writing regulations for the entire country on bleeding-edge tech.
