DISPATCHES FROM THE EDUCATION APOCALYPSE: Left-Leaning News Outlet Stealth-Edits Video of Professor Asking Audience to ‘F— Up’ ICE Officer.

A professor of pan-African studies with a leadership role in Black Lives Matter urged her audience to “f— up” an officer with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Sunday, stating that there should be nowhere the agent could “go where they are comfortable.”

Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African studies at California State University, Los Angeles, identified the ICE agent by name, mentioning the hotel he was staying at.

She urged her audience to “study guerrilla warfare” and use “every single tool in your toolbox.”

“So, when I say f— him up—and I say f— Brian Palacios up, who may be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn—when I say f— him up, I mean in many ways, they don’t get to do their shit invisibly,” she added. “There should be nowhere that they go where they are comfortable.”

Abdullah spoke at the La Defensa del Pueblo Summit, organized by the immigrant rights group Ventura County Defensa, with union support.

The cost of tuition to attend Cal State L.A. on campus totals over $38,000. Choose wisely, parents:

DEMOCRATIC PARTY PULLS SUPPORT FOR NC HOUSE CANDIDATE SHELLY HEADEN:

[Headen’s] posts include comments about an attack on some conservative states and suggest violence could be more effective than peaceful protest.

The party said the comments “violate everything our party represents.”*

Headen told WFDD she does not remember making the posts but apologized to those hurt by them. She said she understands the party’s decision to withdraw its support.

“They’re doing what’s best for the party, and that’s what they should do,” Headen said. “At the end of the day, we just need to get back to normalcy. Whatever it takes. If, you know, one person gets sacrificed which is me, that’s fine.”

* And/or she’s saying out loud what far too many on the left believe:

Tweet concludes:

She said: “I think our only hope is an attack on US soil, preferably Alabama, Louisiana where the stupid people live.”

She said: “I’ve sacrificed myself just like Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross, and Martin Luther King and Abraham Lincoln and all the people that put themselves out there to sacrifice for our country,” she said. “If a few angry moments on social media are the end, then so be it. MAGA will keep winning if we continue with not standing up for what’s right.”

And:

Turley’s tweet concludes:

“Visiting Dauchau [sic] Concentration Camp in Germany… This is where Trump supporters belong.”

As he writes in a follow-up tweet, “Headen is an example of how rage can consume you. What these rage addicts do not admit is that they like it.”

THE TOXIC WORLD-VIEW OF TA-NEHISI COATES:

Tweet concludes, “All I knew was that Bin Laden was not the first man to bring terror to that section of the city. I never forgot that. Neither should you. In the days after, I watched the ridiculous pageantry of flags, the machismo of firemen, the overwrought slogans. Damn it all. I could see no difference between the officer who killed Prince Jones and the police who died, or the firefighters who died. They were not human to me. Black, white, or whatever, they were the menaces of nature; they were the fire, the comet, the storm, which could—with no justification—shatter my body.”

LINDSAY CLANCY FAN FINDING OUT HOLDOUT JUROR IS ‘BLACK’ MAY BE THE GREATEST THING ON THE INTERNET:

There are those watershed moments in internet history when it makes journalisming all worth it.

Such is the case when a Lindsay Clancy fan found out the mind-bending news that the lone holdout juror in the Clancy case who forced a mistrial was… *gasp“… black.

The TikTok crime pseudo-expert, who goes by the handle @paigearony, really sums up the absurdity of identity politics being involved in criminal cases.

“I’m a non-practicing white… it changes the landscape of the conversation a little bit. A lot of us were assuming it was a white man.”

I can’t get past the “non-practicing white” line. Here we have a person assuming that being white is like a social affliction, rather than the shorthand description for a person with sparse melanin content.

It’s apparently real — and spectacularly silly:

UPDATE:

Tweet concludes, “the unanimous verdict requirement exists precisely so one person can refuse to go along. If being that person now means risking all of your laundry being aired out to your community that can easily identify you, we’ve essentially converted unanimity to majority rule by intimidation.”
