HEATHER MAC DONALD: If you think Cornell’s students are crazy, meet their professors. “In claiming a campus rape crisis, the university’s students are egged on by radical professors who betray the cause of reason for an ideology of victimhood.”
STAY AT HOME ON ELECTION DAY IF YOU’RE SICK OF ALL THE WINNING: Trump’s Deportations Are Making America Safer.
The restoration of law and order in America is happening in large part because of President Donald Trump, in particular, his insistence that immigration laws be enforced and criminal illegal aliens be deported.
The administration should double and triple down on this message. America’s return to normalcy is contingent on making border security and deportations a top priority.
This much is undeniable: Trump’s deportations and focus on border security have run alongside a remarkable national drop in crime. To dismiss this as a mere coincidence is as absurd as when we were told there was no crime surge following the George Floyd riots and police defunding in 2020 and the explosion of border crossings during the Joe Biden presidency.
The media—always quick to reinforce whatever narrative Democrats and the Left choose to peddle—have mostly tried to wave away the connection between crime and immigration law enforcement.
Well, what else have they got?
KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: El-Sayed Gives Obama a Chance to Work Out His Trump Daddy Issues. “Again, I’m a big fan of the Dems keeping President Trump front and center. That’s only good for people who were already going to vote for Democrats. The ORANGE MAN BAD scare tactics didn’t work at all for them in 2026, when Trump was on the ballot. The Democrats must be banking on them aging well.”

NOT JUST WASHINGTON: The SPLC’s Hate Map Was Never a Map. It Was a Hit List Washington Used.
OH, CANADA: In a Major Shocker, the Woke Syrupeans of British Columbia Lurch Right.
This is a tough one to excerpt, involving a slender majority, a new election, and extreme overreach on absurd aboriginal land claims, so here’s the upshot: “The first conservative government elected since 1928 — no wonder the place is a shambles.”
REMEMBER WHEN THE PRESS AT LEAST GAVE LIP SERVICE TO OBJECTIVITY?

What else is he hiding? Everything. Also, is a glowed-up “hot boy” what Texas voters want?
SOCIALIST CALLS FOR NATIONALIZING STARLINK:
NEW: Robert Reich calls for the "defunding" of Elon Musk, calls for Democrats to go after Musk's companies.
"Democrats ought to [start] laying the groundwork for nationalizing Starlink & SpaceX… It should be a public corporation."

What a difference a half-decade makes:
5 years ago: Starlink is such a stupid idea. Anyone wasting money investing in this Musk scam deserves to lose everything.
Today: Starlink is essential to the defense of an invaded nation. Access to Starlink is a human right! Nationalize it!

SOME SMALL MEASURE OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Top LA journalist had fling with Dem SoCal lawmaker, let her write his stories.
The publication said it gave Torres multiple opportunities to take responsibility and improve, insisting his departure had nothing to do with its immigration coverage.
“The rumor that we’ve turned our back on ICE coverage is a lie. And a dangerous one,” the statement said.
But according to the outlet, sources have raised questions about Torres’ coverage of Democratic state Sen. Sasha Renee Pérez, 34, including allegations that the pair had a personal relationship while he reported on her political agenda.
The most serious allegation is that Pérez was allowed to edit and write portions of stories published under Torres’ byline.
I just wish most of the press and the entire Democrat party weren’t figuratively in bed together — but that isn’t a firing offense, apparently.
MIRANDA DEVINE: Dems know Ilhan Omar is in deep trouble — that’s why they had Obama parachute in.
You can tell when they’re worried about the black vote by where they send Barry. But does Plutocrat Obama resonate with black voters the way he did almost 20 years ago?

BANANA REPUBLICS ARE GONNA BANANA REPUBLIC: Lula wins fourth term as Brazil president in huge upset.
Lula’s re-election puts the brakes on a wave of Right-wing victories across Latin America, including in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru – whose leaders have been backed by Donald Trump.
His victory deprives the US president of a major addition to a growing bloc of Right-wing Latin American governments that have embraced Washington’s agenda on security and migration.
“People went to vote because we managed to convince them that voting was very important for ensuring democracy in the country,” Lula said in his first comments after the win.
However, Mr Bolsonaro, the eldest son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, refused to concede early on Monday, declaring he would seek to annul the result over an extension of voting hours.
Voting was extended by two hours on Sunday following a last-minute Supreme Court ruling at the request of Lula, who said buses had been taken out of service in several cities, preventing voters from reaching polling stations.
Mr Bolsonaro also sought an extension in some parts of the country because of heavy rain, but described the decision as “unacceptable” and a “dirty trick”.
“It is impossible to recognise the results. I am going to request the annulment of these elections,” he said during a brief speech.
Or to put it another way:
There is a coup happening in Brazil.
They're not even hiding it this time.
They're doing it live in front of the world.

A Newsroom Lawyer’s Pet Peeve: The word “allegedly” is not only not the fig leaf people think it is, but it is often used incorrectly. There is no such charge as “Alleged Murder.”
The murder (apparently) happened, and this person was charged. The correct way to understand this is to remember that in the story’s recitation of facts, that is where “allegedly” goes.
For example, “Jones was charged with bank robbery […] he allegedly told the bank teller ‘give me the money.'”

STANDING UP AGAINST RACISM AND FASCISM:
I did it today. I went and voted. I voted against fascism. I voted against racism. I voted to protect my rights and all rights for all, the Constitution, and for democracy.
