TODAY, EISENHOWER WOULD WARN US ABOUT THE INTEL-MEDIA COMPLEX:

Plus this follow-up from Andy Campbell:

It’s why exit polls are so important – they set the table for disbelief in the actual vote count. Almost worked in Bush v Gore and Trump v Clinton…exit polls did lay the foundation for Trump v Deep State (Biden) to explain the sudden change in outcome.

One must admit, the communists never stop working to acquire power because their entire existence is supreme control of government while we never think about it because our lives are not about controlling others.

Everything is an op.

IT’S NICE TO SEE GREENWALD NOT COME DOWN ON THE SIDE OF THE COMMIES:

IF THEY COULD SEE IT, THEY’D HATE IT, TOO: Trump Is Building a New American Order in the Western Hemisphere. The Media Is Too Busy Hating Him to See It.

The [stakes] grew more serious as we approached 2026. In December, the White House had already added its “Trump Corollary” to the Monroe Doctrine, which is like the original Monroe Doctrine except that this time we really mean it. On January 3rd, US forces snatched Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro, and Trump announced that “ Under our new National Security Strategy, American dominance in the Western Hemisphere will never be questioned again.”

On January 25th, State slapped visa bans on members of Haiti’s unelected ruling council “for supporting gangs and other criminal organizations,” which is a sentence you would not expect to read about a sovereign government. On February 3rd, a US Navy destroyer and two Coast Guard cutters parked in Port-au-Prince Bay, “at the direction of the Secretary of War,” which in hemispheric etiquette is the equivalent of pulling into someone’s driveway, leaving the engine running, and watching them from the car.

Four days later, the unelected council’s mandate suddenly “expired,” and the US immediately backed Prime Minister Fils-Aimé as Haiti’s sole leader.

Much more at the link, but it did remind me to go back and find a lost browser tab from early this morning:

The Trump Doctrine is loud and clear — this Russia hypothesis isn’t much more than conjecture.

But I do know I’d rather have a strong Russia part of the West (assuming that still means anything), than a weak Russia increasingly dependent on and beholden to China.

THE NEW SPACE RACE:

“Don’t panic,” the wise man once wrote.

HOWARD HUSOCK: No More ‘Little Deuce Coupe.’

Reports based on Federal Highway Administration statistics show a dramatic drop in the number of teenagers choosing to get driver’s licenses—down nearly 50% among 16-year-olds since the 1980s. But no one who follows popular music should be surprised by the decline. The golden age of hit songs about cars is now firmly in the cultural rearview mirror.

The song widely considered to be the first rock’n’roll hit was about a car. “Rocket 88,” recorded by Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats featuring Ike Turner in 1951, described a six-passenger Oldsmobile. “Step in my Rocket and don’t be late / We’re pullin’ out about half past 8,” crooned Brenston to an unnamed girlfriend, who likely cuddled up to him in the front seat, sans seatbelts.

The ’50s and ’60s would see a jam of similarly celebratory songs. Plenty of hits told stories of cars in fast-paced detail, notably Chuck Berry’s “No Money Down,” about a Cadillac with a “full Murphy bed in my back seat.” But even confining the list to songs with car names in the title leads to a hit parade.

Back in May of 2009, in a Wall Street Journal article titled, “The End of the Affair,” the late P.J. O’Rourke wrote an encomium to cars, which the Obama-Biden administration was then just beginning its war on (as part of its still-ongoing war with many other aspects of American life), that was also at times, an encomium to the suburbs:

But cars didn’t shape our existence; cars let us escape with our lives. We’re way the heck out here in Valley Bottom Heights and Trout Antler Estates because we were at war with the cities. We fought rotten public schools, idiot municipal bureaucracies, corrupt political machines, rampant criminality and the pointy-headed busybodies. Cars gave us our dragoons and hussars, lent us speed and mobility, let us scout the terrain and probe the enemy’s lines. And thanks to our cars, when we lost the cities we weren’t forced to surrender, we were able to retreat.

Eight years later, self-driving cars began to first emerge, and Charles Cooke warned of “The War on Driving to Come.” Or as Iowahawk warned right around the same time, America “needs a Second Amendment protecting the right to keep and bear cars.”

DISPATCHES FROM THE BLUE ZONES: L.A. Real Estate Is Partying Like It’s 2008. “There was no global financial panic. No world war. No recession. No pandemic. Just Southern California stuck in a self-imposed rut from which there seems to be no escape.”

KEEP AN EYE ON THIS:

THEY’RE FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND THEY’RE HERE TO HELP: ‘Affordability’ Is A Trojan Horse For Democrats To Bring Back The Biden Years.

By “restore money that was improperly cut,” the Times means that Democrats will refuse to pass budget bills that don’t include funding for all the multibillion-dollar scam projects that help fund their cause, like USAID and every anti-American NGO. When they say “scientific research and disease prevention,” that’s what they’re referring to.

The editorial went on to encourage Democrats in power to heavily rely on “hearings, subpoenas and more” to “hold the president and his appointees responsible.” And why stop at government officials? There’s plenty of harassment to go around for Trump supporters! “Even if Mr. Trump and his aides illegally defy subpoenas,” the Times said, “the House can summon corporate executives and others who have enabled him.”

In the event Democrats secure the Senate, too, the Times suggested they block future political appointees and, of course, Supreme Court nominees. The editorial said only judges who “uphold the law” should be confirmed, which of course means judges who will reliably side with Democrats in their blood-thirsty crusades to imprison their political opponents.

None of this will lower the cost of gas and groceries.

Government and affordability go together like Scotch and Jolly Ranchers.

DID ISRAELI-ARAB PARTY STEAL THE ELECTION? Richard Pollock rounds up substantial evidence that funds channeled from Qatar to the Israeli-Arab party via Muslim terrorist channels turned Tuesday’s voting into a “stolen election.”
