ARTIFICIALLY MANIPULATED INTELLIGENCE: Coincidence? ChatGPT Changes Policies One Day After Everytown Recommends New AI Policies.

Everytown for Gun Safety published recommendations for AI companies on September 28, 2026. The next day, OpenAI/ChatGPT changed its firearm policies and became much more anti-gun—the very next day.

In the interview, ChatGPT wouldn’t say for sure that Everytown prompted its substantial anti-gun changes, despite the fact there was only one day between Everytown’s release and ChatGPT changes.

“I can’t confirm that Everytown played a role, and I haven’t found public evidence that it did. Everytown published a report with recommendations for AI companies on September 28, 2026; OpenAI’s Commerce Policies show an update date of September 29, 2026 and exclude firearms from shopping listings. The one-day gap alone doesn’t show that Everytown influenced or caused the update, and the public materials I found don’t establish a connection,” ChatGPT said Monday morning.

Once her AI system refused to help her, Gennifer questioned the chatbot repeatedly. What it told her is astounding.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT:

The facts are straightforward:

On February 26, 2022 two days after the invasion Ukraine’s Mykhailo Fedorov posted on X asking Elon for Starlink. The same day Musk activated the service. Terminals arrived within days. SpaceX donated thousands (including 3,667 via the USAID partnership) and covered service costs for months while others were still talking. Ukrainian commanders have repeatedly said the front would have collapsed without it.

Elon Musk stated publicly: “No matter how much I disagree with the Ukraine policy, Starlink will never turn off its terminals. We would never do such a thing or use it as a bargaining chip.”

Europe has relied for years on American private technology instead of building its own alternatives. It is easy to criticize the man who actually acted when it mattered most.

Indeed.

Regulate, penalize, and criticize is what Europe does now instead of innovating.

OUT NATO ALLY: Turkish authorities seize control of popular pro-opposition Halk TV after police raid headquarters, stop live broadcasts.

Halk TV said on X that authorities assigned a trustee, or administrator, to take over the outlet, while news reports said the raid was linked to a criminal investigation into owner Cafer Mahiroğlu, whose other assets were seized as well.

Mahiroğlu, who lives abroad, said in a video message on X that seven of his relatives in Turkey were in police custody, and that the accusations against him were false.

“Seizing Halk TV strikes at the heart of press freedom in Turkey where the vast majority of news outlets are pro-government. Halk TV is one of the very few remaining broadcasters that criticize the government and this action is a devastating blow to the Turkish people’s right to freedom of information and expression,” said Özgür Öğret, CPJ’s Turkey representative. “Control of Halk TV must immediately be returned to its staff and this deeply alarming and damaging crackdown on journalism must end.”

Turkey is witnessing an intense and sustained crackdown on independent and pro-opposition media, with dozens of journalists arrested or detained so far this year.
