HIGHER EDUCATION BUBBLE UPDATE: Virginia, Ohio explore three-year bachelor’s degrees amid debate over college costs.

This has more implications than just lowering tuition. With fewer “general ed” requirements, humanities courses will lose demand, which means losing funding and faculty slots.
