Among the findings of this first-of-its-kind poll:
More than a third of the public (38%) and more than half of Democrats (53%) say they themselves have experienced TDS, when it’s described as “unusually intense negative emotional reactions to Donald Trump.”
70% say they observed Trump-related emotional stress, anger, or agitation among people they know.
62% say they have seen people change their behavior because of strong negative feelings toward Trump.
41% know people who refuse to socialize with friends or family who support Trump.
37% have seen obsessive attention to Trump combined with anger toward his supporters.
22% say they have seen threats or aggressive or violent behavior tied to negative feelings about Trump.
But even those who can’t wait for Trump to be out of office should be deeply troubled by the poll’s findings.
Because, left untreated, TDS sufferers won’t suddenly be cured when Trump leaves the White House. Their obsession will just transfer to a new tormentor.
Spend a decade or so with the intel-media complex whipping up fear and hatred, and this is what you get.

I HAD BEEN ASSURED THAT THE REPLACEMENT THEORY WAS JUST RIGHT-WING PARANOIA:
New figures obtained from the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS) reveal a major shift in the most common surnames given to newborn babies in England and Wales, with Khan and Ahmed now ranking second and third, overtaking the traditional British surnames Jones and Williams.… pic.twitter.com/t3sQAcxZlW
ED MORRISSEY: Stevens Appears With Rogers After El-Sayed Snub. “Stevens tried to get everyone off the Crazy Train this week, and the Democrat Party stiffed her in favor of antisemitism. That lesson won’t be lost on Michigan voters and maybe voters in every battleground this week. In Michigan, Jocelyn Benson may have to worry about the impact on her gubernatorial campaign with black voters, especially with John James as a credible alternative. Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for this mess. They went all-in on Hamas support this cycle, and they just blew up a relatively easy Senate hold over it. Stay tuned.”
CIVIL RIGHTS UPDATE: The Latest Way YouTube is Censoring Firearms Content Creators. “In fact, up until this chat where I tried a handful of different angles to ‘trick’ the chatbot into finding the actual error and disclosing it to me, every single time over the last few months when thumbnail generation wasn’t working, it was getting ‘timeout’ and “service temporarily not available” sorts of notices. The proffered excuse was that the system was, in effect, too busy and simply couldn’t generate a thumbnail for me at that particular time. That’s why I would try repeatedly rather than giving up.”
English authorities said the country’s new “Be Ready” campaign is intended to help people through a bad patch in case extreme weather plays havoc — nothing more. Also, keep in mind, a can opener can be used as a weapon to open the throat of an invader. Oh, and we’re raising the age at which retired military personnel can be recalled from 55 to 65, but that isn’t in reaction to anything at all. Japan has issued the same recommendations, probably saying it’s in case there’s a tsunami and certainly not a surprise attack by China that knocks them out in the event of a fast-moving Taiwan gambit.
Many people on social media have also noted news of the FORTRESS America project, intended to make all military facilities self-reliant for 90 days should local utilities fail. You nod and say, “Good idea, and also, why haven’t you done this before, and also, why now?” Then you learn it’s part of PROJECT HARDINATE or OPERATION SECURE TURGIDITY or something that was started a few years ago. In short, there’s probably nothing to it. There’s probably no intel about intricate utility-killing plots using sleeper cells infiltrated during Biden-era border laxity. There probably isn’t anything imminent. If there was, they would have head-faked us with some more declassified UFO footage.
I’ve been prepped since the Twin Towers fell. I put together a bug-out box after 9/11, figuring that if something bad happened, we would light out for the territories, head to North Dakota where my family had a gas station. Dad would be guarding the tanks with one of his many, many rifles. I bought some buckets of shelf-stable food. Civilization might crack and chaos rule the land, but we were going to dine like kings on beef stroganoff every night for a solid month. Twenty-five-year shelf life, I thought, in 2001. We’re good.
We've never seen Starship activity moving this fast around Starbase. Not only vehicles for Flight 15, but Flight 16 too (we hope from Florida with a Starship catch in Texas). 🤯 It's freaking wild!
The current no-earlier-than date for Flight 15 is November 12.
HUZZAH! BIG NEWS FROM THE EEOC: “EEOC Votes to Rescind Enforcement Guidance on Arrest and Conviction Records.” That 2012 Guidance was uncommonly crazy even for the Obama-Era. I discussed it in my article on disparate impact liability. I also discuss it very briefly in my new book (which will be officially released on Wednesday). I suppose that means the book already contains a bit of outdated information. But I’m happy anyway (and confident that my earlier work was helpful in getting to the point where the EEOC could withdraw the 2012 Guidance). Purr.
THEY DON’T HATE HIM IN SPITE OF HIM DOING MIRACULOUS GOOD THINGS, THEY HATE HIM BECAUSE OF IT.
THE LEVEL OF CORRUPTION IN TESTING ACCOMMODATIONS IS STAGGERING: It’s another way in which George H.W. Bush allowed so-called “civil rights law” to go berserk. I keep thinking I should write about it myself. In the meantime, Katie Davis is writing about it.
WELL, WHEN YOU PUT IT LIKE THAT:
Don't worry Alaskans, it's totally normal for a guy running for the US Senate to; not actively campaign, raise only $35K and give most of it to his campaign lawyers, and then when questioned about his authenticity, he flees his home and refuses interviews with anyone.

THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE HERO AT THE OREGON SCHOOL SHOOTING: Teacher Cassidy Schultz was wrestling with the shooter as Kalub Giamanco arrived and put an end to things. Bless them both.
If you listen carefully it’s a misplaced anger at his own parents for not making him feel worthy that turned into raging jealousy of other children who had parents that lifted them up and poured into them. He’s projected all of that onto white people. He needs to mend his heart… https://t.co/EmeMPElXj5
Again: Is it reasonable to expect bipartisan support for such a partisan institution as higher education has become?
NORMALIZING THEFT…:
All the stuff that 20 years ago they would have said was evidence of electoral malfeasance if it happened in another country is now ‘normal.’ One of the most important roles of the media is to abet our political devolution. https://t.co/fdVIbubQRP

More:
It's the magic of mail-in ballots. Forged ballots are matched to people who didn't vote who are on the voter rolls. It's done late at night/early morning. This is why they want garbage voter rolls and will resist all efforts to clean them up. https://t.co/pSjKyRFQew
