DISPATCHES FROM THE MUMMY STATE: Scottish Museum sending mummy’s remains back to Egypt.

A Scottish museum that removed a mummy from display because it didn’t have the deceased person’s “consent” will now return the remains to Egypt.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow removed the coffin and mummified corpse of an ancient Egyptian priest known as Nekht to show him “respect”.

The council-controlled body which runs the museum, Glasgow Life, explained that it did not have “consent” for the display “from the deceased individual or their descendants”.

Other items removed include a a mummified male head and right foot and a hand recovered from the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

The Telegraph has learnt that the mummy is to be returned to Egypt following a request for repatriation.

In response, “Scottish Conservative culture spokesman Murdo Fraser said: ‘This is woke madness at its most ridiculous. Even Egyptian mummies are now being cancelled by a society so obsessed with modern sensibilities that it has lost all sense of perspective.’”

NOT SURE HOW SHOCKING THAT REALLY IS: First-Of-Its-Kind Poll Finds TDS Is Real, And It’s Shockingly Widespread.

Among the findings of this first-of-its-kind poll:

  • More than a third of the public (38%) and more than half of Democrats (53%) say they themselves have experienced TDS, when it’s described as “unusually intense negative emotional reactions to Donald Trump.”
  • 70% say they observed Trump-related emotional stress, anger, or agitation among people they know.
  • 62% say they have seen people change their behavior because of strong negative feelings toward Trump.
  • 41% know people who refuse to socialize with friends or family who support Trump.
  • 37% have seen obsessive attention to Trump combined with anger toward his supporters.
  • 22% say they have seen threats or aggressive or violent behavior tied to negative feelings about Trump.

    • But even those who can’t wait for Trump to be out of office should be deeply troubled by the poll’s findings.

    Because, left untreated, TDS sufferers won’t suddenly be cured when Trump leaves the White House. Their obsession will just transfer to a new tormentor.

    Spend a decade or so with the intel-media complex whipping up fear and hatred, and this is what you get.

    CIVIL RIGHTS UPDATE: The Latest Way YouTube is Censoring Firearms Content Creators. “In fact, up until this chat where I tried a handful of different angles to ‘trick’ the chatbot into finding the actual error and disclosing it to me, every single time over the last few months when thumbnail generation wasn’t working, it was getting ‘timeout’ and “service temporarily not available” sorts of notices. The proffered excuse was that the system was, in effect, too busy and simply couldn’t generate a thumbnail for me at that particular time. That’s why I would try repeatedly rather than giving up.”
