NETANYAHU DEFIES EXIT POLLS TO TAKE LEAD IN ISRAELI ELECTION — WHAT IT MEANS FOR IRAN WAR:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in the lead following a pivotal election Tuesday — making a third act for the Iran war almost certain.
The prime minister’s coalition was in the lead Wednesday with 53 seats after Gadi Eisenkot’s Change bloc failed to deliver a knockout blow following the highest election turnout in decades.
Eisenkot had 49 seats with more than 90% of the vote counted. Both sides were notably well short of the 61 seats needed for a majority.
However, Netanyahu’s apparent comeback — after exit polls Tuesday showed him behind the opposition — will give him room to launch a new campaign against Iran with American forces following the US midterm elections, observers say.
“The Iranian regime did not expect that Netanyahu would be the biggest party. They are afraid of him because he talks against Iran about attacking Iran again,” Beni Sabti, an Iran expert at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in Israel, told the Post.
Netanyahu has long pushed to topple mullahs in the Islamic Republic. Eisenkot agrees that Iran must never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, but has said regime change is unrealistic.

In an email blast to customers titled “Protecting your finances in the Al World,” Bank of America urged customers to never share their username and password with another person or an outside service, “including an Al-enabled tool or agent that offers to act on your behalf.”
You can practically sense the frustration in the person sending the email. Still, customers are increasingly handing over their log-ins as personal AI assistants grow more popular. Sharing your banking username and password with an AI assistant runs the risk that it could do something with your finances without your knowledge, or that your bank thinks someone’s raiding your account and locks you out of it. Worse, a security flaw in the AI assistant could result in it leaking your banking credentials elsewhere, giving financially motivated hackers a way into your bank account.

A field organizer for Democratic Socialist of America-aligned (DSA) candidate William Lawrence in Michigan—despite saying that it was “bad” that Charlie Kirk was assassinated—justified the shooting, claiming that Kirk “incited a lot of violence, and sometimes you get what you f*cking get.” Lawrence is running in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District and has billed himself as an average progressive.
In video obtained by The Post Millennial, Adrian Slear, a field organizer for Lawrence, told an undercover journalist that Charlie Kirk’s murder was essentially justified. “Someone gets shot with a gun: violence bad,” the man with a “Decolonize Palestine” shirt said.

Key takeaway:
This is a chronic problem with left-wing propaganda. In an ideal world, or at least an ideal world from the point of view of a left-wing organizer, propaganda would usefully deceive and demoralize everyone outside the movement while the movement itself remains in contact with reality.
But it doesn’t work that way. Really skillful propaganda has the emotional hooks to deceive everybody, including your own people. This divorces them from reality and sets them up for rude shocks when the divorce is no longer deniable.
The result seems to manifest itself as increasingly violent temper tantrums at best, and outright authoritarianism at worst.

A New Hampshire journalist said he was denied entry to an event Saturday featuring former Vice President Kamala Harris.
“The reception that I’ve gotten at past Democrat events from activists, from staff has mostly been positive… which is what makes this situation so disappointing,” New Hampshire Journal reporter Leonard Robinson told Fox News Digital in an interview Monday.
Robinson wrote on X Saturday, “@NHDems often make access hard for NHJournal. I’ve been physically blocked by their operatives, they’ve hidden locations of their events from NHJournal. Nothing compares to Harris’s visit.”
